People are born into this world in pairs. They are born into two different bodies but with one
connecting soul.
Through out the course of life, believing that every human is born loner, they lived independently, until one day - they met the missing half. They felt the strange familiarity that they've never felt before, and instantly, they clicked, and everything around them starting to click.
Despite the fact that they came from different worlds, they started to involve in each other's world, as part of the manifestation of the
connection between them. Gradually, they learned things in the other's world, and somehow, they re-learned the things in their own world as well. Things are not what things were anymore; thunder storm is no longer damned but cherished and appreciated; traffic jam no longer makes them swear, but sparked the idea to turn on the radio in the car that they have long forgotten. Mundane chores became meaningful in so many different ways now.
Days were long enough until they started to learn the differences between themselves. After showing the similarities and the amazing mind-reading skill that they have only between them,
times showed them what is and what is not; "what you are, and what you are not". Things turned out not as perfect as
day one, and things seem like deteriorating in the sense of the something they couldn't explain. Expectations took place, and worries ensued.
Looking back on the days they have gone, and the words on
day one, they suddenly realised and saw, started laughing at themselves for forgetting the very essence of themselves:
They are from two different worlds. They are two different lives but with one connecting soul. They forgot they do not live life the same way, and they didn't even originate from the same womb. To them, it suddenly seem insane to have expectation on their other half to follow what themselves think and act. In the end of the day, it is the connection and soul that matters more than their similarities created by the two different worlds.
Part of love is about giving understanding and acceptance. It is not a
contest to look for a person who's just like you.
Perhaps.
