Hugo

I finished my last year's birthday gift. 100ml lasted for 1 year and 3 months. Too fast? Hmm...
It's time for a new fragrant.

Thermal Mug

When I'm rushing for my train, I won't have the chance to sit down at a coffee table and sip on my nesface. So I think I've got to do that on-the-go. I think a thermal mug can solve the problem.
"NO FOOD OR DRINK" on the train - I know. But don't worry. I won't spill on people with that almost air-tight thermal mug. I just don't want to fall asleep when I'm not reading. =)
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Thermal Mug. RM65.00.

New LCD

Old laptop's screen is not displaying properly but some weird distorted lines. So I bought a LCD (hp w185) that costs RM388. It's a decent piece. Guess my old friend still can stick around for some time.

孟兰节

孟兰节 is a ceremony on the 17th during the month of July in Chinese Calendar. In Chinese belief, July is the month when the prisoned souls in hell are released into the human world. It's like the ghosts taking holiday in this month.

Every year on that day, there'll certainly be a celebration at the old basketball court in front of the village's temple. Foods and stuffs will be presented for the ceremony, and kids will be busy having fun playing among themselves, or watching the live stage acting and singing performance.

Every year we'll prepare a piggie. It looks gross lying there, but it tastes good =P

Lulu is socially very active. She can make friends in minutes. Now that's a new one. Hehe!

Gift Exchange

The idea of having half-boiled eggs as part of my breakfast isn't really that difficult anymore after when I'm working in my new company.

I never thought a company's "Team Building" session involves gift exchange =D Who would say No?

We had dinner at TGI Friday.

Lesson Learned: Celery + Mayonnaise = Not Good. Celery is not part of what I thought was a "wholesome" meal. It really was meant for displaying purpose only.

My Gift! :D *shaking the box*
Baby's gift!

Baby Aunty is getting married soon. Too much preparation needed in such a short time frame.
Have been looking for a wedding day photographer who charges relatively low. And also a video recorder to let. It's going to be a simple wedding.

Anyone? Aha.

Two Bodies in One Soul

People are born into this world in pairs. They are born into two different bodies but with one connecting soul.

Through out the course of life, believing that every human is born loner, they lived independently, until one day - they met the missing half. They felt the strange familiarity that they've never felt before, and instantly, they clicked, and everything around them starting to click.

Despite the fact that they came from different worlds, they started to involve in each other's world, as part of the manifestation of the connection between them. Gradually, they learned things in the other's world, and somehow, they re-learned the things in their own world as well. Things are not what things were anymore; thunder storm is no longer damned but cherished and appreciated; traffic jam no longer makes them swear, but sparked the idea to turn on the radio in the car that they have long forgotten. Mundane chores became meaningful in so many different ways now.

Days were long enough until they started to learn the differences between themselves. After showing the similarities and the amazing mind-reading skill that they have only between them, times showed them what is and what is not; "what you are, and what you are not". Things turned out not as perfect as day one, and things seem like deteriorating in the sense of the something they couldn't explain. Expectations took place, and worries ensued.

Looking back on the days they have gone, and the words on day one, they suddenly realised and saw, started laughing at themselves for forgetting the very essence of themselves: They are from two different worlds. They are two different lives but with one connecting soul. They forgot they do not live life the same way, and they didn't even originate from the same womb. To them, it suddenly seem insane to have expectation on their other half to follow what themselves think and act. In the end of the day, it is the connection and soul that matters more than their similarities created by the two different worlds.

Part of love is about giving understanding and acceptance. It is not a contest to look for a person who's just like you.

Perhaps.

Today I watched the movie "Orphan". The story is a little disturbing to me. Maybe there's really a psycho aged 33 out there who looks like a 10-year-old, but it looks not right to see a little girl doing all those brutal acts and killing. Yer... Who dare to adopt children after watching this movie?

Morning Train

A new playground was built in our town, in front of my house. I think it's a brilliant idea.
It's been a long time I last swung. Huh.

Min Kok Dim Sum breakfast is really great. You should try when you're around Seremban.

Moon Steamboat - Nice name. It's a new one in SS2.

Aww mushrooms.

Their sambal worth taking note. I like it :)

Just watched another horror movie. Shit I'm feeling terrible. My childhood nightmare is back. T-T

New Web Host

I'm feeling excited - I just moved this otherwise free-hosted blog to a new web host. =D
I've been wanting to do this since a long time, but the loss that just ensued made me wondered why I wanted to do that in the first place; I lost my template, my links and all my hand-made content on the sidebar. =(

Well.

I'm planning to just let this blog to look as it is until something/someone whack my butt. Hehe.
